My experience with Glow and Miyoko far exceeded my expectations.  I truly had an amazing and fantastic experience.  I had heard about this service from one of my colleagues who met a wonderful person through this site, so was willing to give this a try, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, I thought this might be a great time to have somebody match my needs and expectations.  I had been dating online for several years and without much luck in finding a life partner.  I've had fun with the process, but I found that it really takes a ton of dates and work to find someone worth dating.  Still, what I came to realize is that, in order for me to really go the distance with someone, I needed someone truly spectacular.  Enter Glow service.  They take a great deal of time to really get to know the needs of their clients and only present quality individuals who actually meet the true expectations of their clients, it's all about the quality and not quantity.  Miyoko truly cares about the entire experience of her clients from start to finish and takes great pains to learn from each encounter she sets up.  When I spoke with Miyoko she was incredibly warm and did a great job of extracting the right information from me in order to find not just the type of person I was asking for but the one I really needed.  I could see that she was really assessing things on another level.  I don't think it always works this way, but all it took was one match for me to get everything I could ever ask for and more.  It took just a few candidates to meet the person who I really loved back in March 2020 and she moved just 5 months later, and now, here in 2021 we are getting married and expecting a baby girl.  It's really unbelievable how quickly and smoothly this all evolved and I am eternally grateful to Miyoko and her team who helped make this all possible.  I was hesitant about taking the plunge but unbelievably grateful I jumped in!  Miyoko    Arigato gozaimasu.

女性会員の方から、去年glowのサービスを通して出会った男性との近況報告をいただきましたのでシェアさせて頂きます。

私は２月に無事に彼のいる州に引っ越ししました。２月下旬には彼の実家にも行ってきました。
一週間彼の両親の家に泊まらせていただき、その一週間の間に彼のいとこや叔父叔母の親戚ほぼ全員に会いました。
とても素敵な親族で楽しかったです。

3月から学校が始まったので、ホームステイ先から学校に通い、学校の無い週末はいつも彼と一緒でしたが、
コロナの影響で外出禁止になり、学校がオンライン授業になったので、実は今ホームステイ先をキャンセルし、
彼の家に2人で住んでいます。急な展開で2人とも予想していなかったですが、一緒に住んでお互いをもっともっと知ることができていますし、とても幸せです。
３月下旬の2週間、彼は仕事が休みでずっと２人で家にいました。(今週から仕事が始まりました)

将来どこに住むか決めたり、将来どんなふうに子育てをして、どんな家庭を築いていくか話したりもしています。私たちの場合、この状況のおかげでもっと関係が近くなったといっても過言ではないと思います。もちろん早くこの状況が良くなることを祈っていますが、こんな状況だからこそ、一緒にルールを決めて気をつけたり、
お互いの両親や家族を心配しあったり、一緒に家で過ごす時間を楽しんだりしています。

5月末に私の家族に挨拶に行く予定でしたが、状況が状況ですので、まだ日本に行けるかどうかは分かりません。
早く状況が落ち着けばいいですね。

2018年に二組のカップルがご成婚されました。1組はハワイで、もう人組は東京で式を御げられました。新年開けてそうそうの嬉しいニュースです。今年も多数の方がご成婚されるよう期待しています。

遠距離恋愛を乗り越えてつかんだ愛

ご無沙汰致しております。今年の4月にご連絡して以来となってしまいまし季節もすっかり秋になり、この辺りでは木々の紅葉がキレイな季節となりました。

その後ですが、4月末に入籍し、5月のGWは全て結婚式の打合せに使うなどして何とかこなしながら、さらに同時に渡米の準備も進めるなど、怒涛の日々を何とか乗り切り、6月初めに結婚式、中旬に新婚旅行を経て、7月には二人そろってアメリカでの新生活が始まりました。

生活が落ち着いたのは8月頃でしょうか。
ただ、彼女が日本での運転免許がなかったので、アメリカではBeginners Permitから始めるしか手がなく、8月にはBPを見事取得したものの、本当の運転免許は最速でも半年後の2月にならないと取れないため、未だに一人では自由に行動できない状況で、少し不自由な生活となっていると思います。

そんな彼女ですが、先週今週と前々から予定していた一時帰国中なので、日本でめいっぱい羽を伸ばしている頃だと思います。来週にはまたこちらに帰ってきますが、運転免許が取れる2月まであと少しありますね。

添付した写真につきまして、一枚目は結婚式当日の写真です。親族と一部の友人の参列でしたが、挙げることができて本当によかったと思っています。

２枚目は新婚旅行先のハワイでの写真です。どうしてもドレスが着たい、とのことでしたので、ハワイの教会でドレスを着て写真だけ撮る、フォトプランというのをやってきました。

３枚目は近場のState Parkの山頂での写真です。
登山が共通の趣味の一つだったので、4時間ほどかけて、見事一緒に登頂することができました。

前述の通り、今彼女は日本に一時帰国中です。数ヶ月ぶりに一人で過ごす日々は、ずいぶんと暇でした。（笑）思い返せば、こんな暇なのも面白くないと思い始めた婚活だったと思います。7月以降の彼女との日々は、笑いの絶えない日々でした。怒られることはありますが、大体僕が謝って許してもらっています（笑）

まだ半年もたっていない新生活、それどころか、彼女と出会ってやっと9ヵ月になります。これからも手を取り合って支えあって、アメリカでの生活を頑張っていきたいと思います。

いつになるか分かりませんが、2018年にはサンフランシスコにご挨拶にお伺いできれば、と思っています。

Feedback on K: K and I had a very nice first meeting, which led to four other meetings during her week here in SF. K is a very sweet and sensitive soul. Some brief highlights of the effort were:

•Handling very specific requirements on physical appearance (both facial and body type), educational background and character traits.
•Personally composed a detailed personal profile whose tone and content were specifically targeted to the Japanese lady audience, with pointers on professional profile photography process as well. From feedback, the Japanese ladies were impressed with the quality of profile in comparison to profiles they received from other agencies.
•A trip to Japan, for which the preparations were difficult and under a short timeframe. In this case, there were multiple rounds of outreach to convince ladies I was interested in to attend, resulting in their final attendance. In addition, several ladies required booking at the last minute, a day before the scheduled meeting slots upon my arrival in Japan. Cross-country coordination at night time occurred between multiple Glow staff and sister company staff to ensure the ladies could confirm and attend.

These efforts and more resulted in a successful meeting with a committed, high character and beautiful Japanese lady, just in time for the holidays. We have enjoyed an extended amount of time together during the holidays and received compliments on the character and beauty of the lady from my friends of various backgrounds. We look forward to meeting her family shortly after the New Year, with an eye towards a final commitment, all within several weeks of introductions.

The speed at which the relationship has progressed is a clear indication of how close of a match the lady is to myself, across many aspects of our character, lifestyle and life experiences. I can highly recommend the staff at Glow and the service they provide. They did a great job of understanding the kind of partner I was looking for and introducing me to women who really met those criteria. I could tell that they really put a lot of energy into finding women I would like--it's a very personalized service. Being with Glow didn't stop me from looking on my own, but in a strange way it made me more confident, as knowing I had dates arranged made me more relaxed about introducing myself to others.
